Gutter Cleaning and Exterior Brightening in West Palm Beach
Single-story gutter clean-out: $125 to $225
Two different jobs share this page because customers ask for them together. Clean-out is clearing the inside so water drains. Brightening is removing the black streaks on the outside face that a normal house wash leaves behind.
Gutter clean-out
Leaves, shingle grit and seed pods are removed by hand and the downspouts are flushed until they run clear. Clogged downspouts are cleared from the top or bottom. We check for sagging sections, separated seams and loose hangers and tell you about them; repairs are a separate quote. Gutters here clog with live oak leaves in spring and palm debris after every storm, so clean-outs before hurricane season opens on June 1 and again after the first cold front are the usual schedule.
Gutter brightening
The black tiger stripes on the outside of gutters are oxidation and electrostatic grime bonded to the aluminum. They do not come off with a house wash or pressure. A dedicated gutter cleaner is applied by hand and scrubbed, then rinsed. White gutters come back white. It is usually added to a house wash and makes a bigger visual difference than most people expect.
Pricing
A single-story gutter clean-out in West Palm Beach runs $125 to $225; two-story homes and homes under heavy tree cover are priced on site. Brightening is priced by linear foot and is cheapest as an add-on to a house wash.
If water is pouring over the gutter edge in a storm, that is the clean-out talking. Call (561) 717-7286, mention whether the house is one or two stories, and we will quote West Palm Beach on the spot.
